  • The Carillion team behind this project have been awarded an RAF Team Excellence Award for "outstanding hard work, deadication and professionalism".

As part of the team, TPS provided Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical engineering design and carried out a DREAM assessment.


Carillion Gold Target Zero Award

  • TPS has been awarded a Carillion Target Zero Gold Award for achieving four years without a lost time incident.

  • Winner, first "BREEAM in Use in Europe" at the annual BREEAM awards at EcoBuild. This was for the British Embassy in Berlin, opened by the Queen in 2000

2006

Terminal 4, Madrid Barajas Airport

  • TPS won the "IStructE Award for Commercial or Retail Structures" for the structural design of the new Terminal and Satellite.
  • winner of the RIBA Stirling prize - our aviation team master-minded the Richard Rogers designed project, supported by our structural and building services teams.

National Assembly for Wales, Cardiff

  • The new assembly building, project managed by TPS was runner up for the RIBA Stirling Prize

Glencorse Barracks, Edinburgh

  • Innovation award from the Scottish Construction Forum; for innovation in developing a design and close working with contractors/ suppliers to maximise lean construction techniques

2005

Twin Rivers Diversion Project, Heathrow

  • Achieved an "Excellent" CEEQUAL (Civil Engineering Environmental Quality Assessment) award for its work on diverting two rivers at Terminal 5
