Gabriella
Project Architect
“To see your own designs come to life in the reality of a building is an incredible experience,” says Gabriella Mai, Architect with TPS. She has always had a strong interest in structural design and is driven by a desire to create fresh and exciting designs that work in symbiosis with their setting and their users. She gained her Pg(Dip) Professional Practice Of Architecture while working as a graduate architectural assistant with the firm, an achievement she describes as, “my first major career highlight.”
“My first couple of years at TPS were an exciting time,” says Gabriella. I loved the variety offered by the different projects that I worked on, from large MOD remodernisations to bids for the design of a new embassy in Doha. To work and design within a team surrounded by the wealth of experience and knowledge of fellow colleagues, is fantastic.”
Today Gabriella is involved with a number of projects including a contract with Coca Cola, helping to facilitate their internal moves within their central Hammersmith offices. Where does she see herself in five years? “I’d love to be winning and managing a variety of interesting projects in the residential and fast track commercial sectors, with the aim to work on a higher spec, small developer lead scheme.”
